With a tape measure, pencil, and square, mark the location of the brackets’ bolt holes on the end of the fence posts. Attach a wood drill bit to the drill and change the setting to drill and driver. Bore bolt holes in the bottom of each fence post with the drill.
Step 7: Bolt The Remaining Posts Together.
Place a post in a post bracket. Align the bolt holes on the post with the bolt holes on the bracket. Thread bolts through the bracket’s bolt holes and the post until the threaded ends of the bolts emerge from the other side of the bracket. Thread nuts onto the bolts after placing a washer over the threaded ends.
Tighten the nuts by hand first, and then use adjustable wrenches. Hoist and bolt the remaining poles into position.
